Anonymous analytics data is retained for a limited period, no longer than 26 months. You may request deletion of any data associated with your usage by contacting us.

Campgrounder links to third-party booking platforms including Recreation.gov, Reserve America, Hipcamp, Glamping Hub, and others. These platforms have their own terms of service, privacy policies, and cancellation policies. Campgrounder is not responsible for third-party platform policies, booking errors, or the quality of campgrounds booked through external links.

Campgrounder participates in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by linking to Amazon.com. Gear Picks shown in the pack list use affiliate links tagged with our Associates ID. Campgrounder also may earn referral credits when users sign up for third-party services through links on this site, including Starlink (satellite internet). These relationships do not affect our editorial decisions. We only recommend gear and services we'd genuinely use. Affiliate links are clearly labeled on the site.

If you submit campground suggestions to Campgrounder, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, edit, and publish that information. Campground descriptions, curated selections, editorial notes, and site data are original editorial works. Factual information about individual campgrounds is not claimed as proprietary; the original expression, curation, and arrangement are. Campground images are served from official agency sources such as Recreation.gov, from Unsplash under the Unsplash License, and from our own photography.

You agree not to scrape, crawl, copy, harvest, or systematically extract Campgrounder's campground data or content by any automated or manual means; access the site through bots or automated tools except well-behaved search-engine crawlers; use the content or data to train, fine-tune, or ground any AI or machine-learning model; use the site for commercial purposes without permission; attempt to interfere with or compromise the site's security or functionality; or use the site in any way that violates applicable law.
