The outdoors shouldn't require a spreadsheet. Recreation.gov, state parks, private sites, BLM land — each with its own system, its own calendar, its own friction. We built Campgrounder to fix that.
One honest place to browse, decide, and go. No algorithm nudging you somewhere you don't want to be. Just trees, trails, and the cleanest path between you and them.
We don't sell your data. We don't share it with advertisers. We collect only what we need to understand how the app is used so we can make it better. That's it.
Campgrounder collects anonymous usage data through Google Analytics and Vercel Web Analytics. This includes pages visited, time spent, device type, browser, and approximate location (country/region level). We do not collect your name, email address, or any personally identifiable information unless you voluntarily provide it to us.
Usage data is used solely to understand how people interact with Campgrounder and to improve the product. We do not use this data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond product analytics.
We use cookies only for essential functionality and anonymous analytics. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though this may affect some features.
Campgrounder uses the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policies: Google Analytics (analytics.google.com/policies/privacy), Vercel (vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy), Unsplash (unsplash.com/privacy), and Leaflet/OpenStreetMap (openstreetmap.org/privacy). Booking links direct you to third-party platforms (Recreation.gov, Reserve America, Hipcamp, etc.) — we are not responsible for their privacy practices.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes. We may share anonymized, aggregated usage statistics that cannot be used to identify any individual.
Anonymous analytics data is retained for up to 26 months as per Google Analytics default settings. You may request deletion of any data associated with your usage by contacting us.
